Have you ever knit a sweater? I haven’t, and I want to change that.
Before I get too far head here, let me introduce myself. My name is Emma, and I’m a writer and a knitter.
I’ve been a knitter for most of my life, though I only really became passionate about the craft a few years ago. Since then, I’ve knitted countless projects, from hats to socks and everything in between, but I have not yet knit a sweater.
There’s always been something to get in the way of my knitting a sweater, from the wrong yarn choice to my own indecision on a pattern.
But no more. I want to knit a sweater, and I want to knit it by the end of the year. It’s September now, so I have four months to complete this sweater.
Why am I telling you this? Because I’m going to blog the whole process right here.
From the collar to the pockets (I’m so excited that the pattern I picked has pockets!), every mistake and every victory will be written out, both to help motivate me and – hopefully – to encourage other knitters to pick up the needles and knit their own sweater!
So wish me luck, and stay tuned for future updates!
